He came! (laughs in foreshadowing)
Here's a little doodle of "inner Ferris" at that moment when his face lights up.
Panel 1: Ferris is in the pit cleaning up still, and as he leans over to pick up some trash on the ground he's startled by someone addressing him. Text from the next panel with Szelek bleeds into this one saying "Congratulations on the successful show."
Panel 2: The text continues, "I hear you sold out for the Varroshi Premier." This panel shows Szelek sitting in a front row theater seat and slipping a familiar looking magic pendant into a portal on his "not-a-watch" while talking to Ferris. There's a little insert of cute chibi Ferris suddenly all giddy to see Szelek here.
Panel 3: Wider shot of the fron of the theater with Ferris trying to look sexy and nonchalant as he accuses Szelek, "You're late." Szelek also stands up from the chair, pointing back at Ferris to counter, "You ran out on me yesterday. Besides..."
Panel 4: Close up on Szelek's portal watch as he pulls a bouquet of interesting flowers out of it with a fwoosh of magic.
